DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Program™

Hillside® is honored to be the first child and adolescent residential treatment facility awarded the highly coveted and professionally respected DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Program™(dbt-lbc.org). The DBT-Linehan Board of Certification is an international organization devoted to ensuring programs and individuals offering Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) meet rigorous standards and demonstrate adherence to this evidence-based treatment model. Program certification confirms Hillside’s commitment to provide DBT effectively and with fidelity as developed by Dr. Marsha Linehan and colleagues.

Hillside is proud to serve children of our active duty military members and veterans as a Tricare provider. Tricare is managed by Humana Military and we are partnered with them to provide Residential, “Experience DBT Day Program” (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP). Contact Admissions to find out more.

Joint Commission accreditation is recognized internationally as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to providing safe and quality care. The Joint Commission’s standards are developed in consultation with health care experts and providers, measurement experts and patients. Since 1999 the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs has been the trade association representing residential treatment centers, therapeutic boarding schools, and wilderness programs that help troubled teens, young adults and their families. With many success stories, NATSAP has nearly 160 member schools and programs that treat 5000 adolescents and young adults annually.

The National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc. and Affiliates (NBCC) is the premier credentialing body for counselors, ensuring that counselors who become board certified have achieved the highest standard of practice through education, examination, supervision, experience, and ethical guidelines.

Hillside® has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6948. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified Hillside® is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
